Seasonal Travel Advisors

Visit Belfast would like to appoint a number of Seasonal Travel Advisors to meet current business needs.

Post holders will be based mainly in the Visit Belfast Welcome Centre (VBWC), however, some shifts may be based at either Belfast International Airport Visitor Information Centre (BIA VIC), George Best Belfast City Airport Visitor Information Centre (GBBCA VIC) or The Cruise Terminal at Belfast Port. Full time and part time posts will be available (various contract lengths - May to September).

Post-holders will provide an efficient and comprehensive information and ticketing service for local tours, events and festivals for Belfast / Northern Ireland residents and visitors to Belfast and Northern Ireland.

Seasonal Cruise Assistants

Visit Belfast would like to appoint a number of Seasonal Cruise Assistants.

The Cruise Assistant is responsible to the Manager of the Visit Belfast Visitor Servicing Manager (VBWC VIC) and the Cruise Ship Coordinator, or Ground Handler on duty, for the provision of on-shore ticket handling and customer service for cruise passengers arriving into the Port of Belfast by cruise ship.

Visit Belfast requires a target-driven sales professional to help deliver ambitious business tourism sales targets for Belfast. Based in central London, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new meetings, incentive, events and conference business for Belfast within the GB association, corporate and agency industry segments.

The role will report to the Head of Business Tourism in Belfast and will be based in central London with regular travel within GB and to Belfast.
This position is a fixed term contract initially however, subject to business needs and performance, this may be extended to a permanent role beyond the initial contract period.

Finance Manager

Visit Belfast is a public/private sector partnership funded and supported by Belfast City Council, Tourism Northern Ireland and the private sector. It is the official tourism marketing agency for the Belfast City Region, dedicated to promoting Belfast as a city break, conference and cruise ship destination. It is also responsible for the operation of three gateway visitor information centres.

Visit Belfast represents more than 500 tourism businesses and services across the industry including accommodation providers, attractions, conference venues and services, tour operators, transport providers, entertainment venues, restaurants and cafes, pubs and clubs and event organisers.

We now wish to expand our Finance Department with this exciting new appointment. The role of Finance Manager is to assist the Director of Finance in efficiently and accurately overseeing the financial management and corporate governance of the business.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will have experience of all aspects of accounting and administration within a busy finance team in order to support the corporate requirements of Visit Belfast which have grown considerably over the last few years.
There are three other part time members of staff in the finance team and you will also assist the Director in all aspects of people management.
